as I again thought the North American (Or Aremorican as its known here) was an interesting situation and I wanted to use some export icons. This is also the first vectorisation of my north america watersheds source file I've to work nicely, so want to show it off!
Again period of the map is in the alternate timelines 1740s.

Its a Dutch (or rather Vlaanish here) rendering of Judith, named after some en vogue Princess or other.

So Anglo-Louisiana, it seems. This ought to shape how the Continent is going to turn out down the line.

Not necessarily! As you can see the English interests in the Mississippi basin aren't really predisposed to massive numbers of settlers and are much younger than the colonies of other powers. With the exception of Hollander Waterloo all of the East coast colonies have greater populations than Arouria, and Riosanto is practically empty outside its southernmost reaches.
I'd bet on the Vlaanish Juutlanders or the New Islenders dominating before and Anglo Mississippi basin.

Its certainly developed and industrious (certainly more than OTL New Spain) but has eyes firmly fixed on the UKoLPCG Pacific Rim Empire.

When it comes to alt-histories, I think North America does well because there were so many legitimate opportunities for history to go one way or another there during it's colonisation.

That is really excellent. Very crisp and sharp, lots of detail without being muddled. I really need to look into getting Inkscape...
BTW, any chance you'd share the base vector map with us?

I think I need to optimise and removes some errors from it first, but eventually sure.

Awesome. I'm always up for new base maps, especially one as great as this one.
