This is Ostara, the goddess of Spring, fertility, and the dawn.You'll notice eggs, bunnies, and the flowers in her hair which are all particularly associated with Ostara. Her dress is coloured in pastel tones because her associated colours are basically "any pastel." She has a Eurasian Tit on her finger, from a story/fable/legend about why Easter is all about rabbits. Yes, the reason Easter has rabbits is birds...
I tried a bunch of new things in this picture. I changed the way that I did skin a bit and was happy with the results.I also tried to make the figure in the picture in more of an art nouveau style (previously I'd only done the backgrounds of pictures in art nouveau and not the figure, this time I swapped that).
Picture completed in March of 2018.
