That’s thing. Most of the BH6 fandom base are younger viewers and majority are ladies. They are people learning from the old generation how to avoid toxic negativity on a daily basis. Of course gender isn't the big factor, but what matters is we all get along, shows the difference. The point is, we all respect each other. Even if our opinions don't collide. That's what a fandom is suppose be. All we wanna do is enjoy as much as we can. And even if any of you don’t like an artwork, fanfic or even the show’s plot, that didn't fit any of your taste, there’s no point spreading hate over it.  

From my experience, I have received so much hate for loving a fictional couple from Star Wars. But my biggest regret was believing that, as an adult woman, I would be accepted in their community. Everyday from the past 5 years and counting, someone has to remind me how wrong it is for shipping and putting romance where they didn’t see it. Newsflash, Star Wars “itself” is a soap opera. But is wasn’t enough from them. I finally figured that their love for SW was hating it all along. So in the end I kept myself from distance. Enjoying only what I wanted.

It’s what I’m doing now for the Karmi x Hiro ship as well. I enjoy it and some people don't. It’s okay not to like it, nobody is obligating anybody to like it.

I never believed in the bullshit that “real fans” existed in the first place. These stories are expected to live on for new generations. It’s selfish to think some people have the power to lock it in a safe and keep it as it is, just for pleasure. A fandom base is to support the show, not treat it as a customer service demanding things for your own taste. We never own these fictional characters and their stories in the first place. 

I’m glad you’re enjoying the BH6 fandom.
