Because Scootaloo now has as much of a sister as Sweetie Belle and Applebloom... she just needs to remember that. The element of loyalty will not abandon her sister. Ever.
What is Applebloom doing, you ask? Well, she is comparing the definition of uniform continuity ([link] ) with the given piecewise function. If she's going to get that cutie mark, she should eventually come to the conclusion that the function is in fact not uniformly continuous! It may be continuous, but there does not exist a single delta so that for every epsilon, (x2-x1)

honestly, aside from when they are fighting against monsters, I cannot tell exactly how much time alone has passed in a single season of this show. It started in Summer, than we skip ahead to Winter Wrap-Up which is the beginning of Spring, than at a later episode we get the Running of the Leaves which symbolizes Autumn which means that a year would have already passed in MLP in one season alone. I can handle everything but the lack of timelength in this show itself. Are the Pre-Discord Episodes all within the exact same timelength of a year or is it two?? [link]

Incidentally, it seems I don't understand the uniform continuity thing; lim (sin(x)) x->0- = 0, whereas cos(0)=1, therefore f(x) is not continuous at x=0, so why is she bothering about higher-level continuity?

Look closely: it's xsin(x) and xcos(x), not just sin and cos. Hence, continuous

It's an image. On the top is Rainbow flying downwards to catch a fallen Scootaloo. On the bottom is Rainbow Dash crying as she looks at a cross. On the cross is a helmet, cape and scooter. I dont know why it reminds me of it. It should be in my favorites.
