The one thing about this is that the steps don't look like they're even in the ledge. They look more like ladders with steps than an actual staircase. I think the problem is that they potrude from the ledge at the bottom and the top. This looks awesome though!

Did you make the landscape-tiles custom? If you did, I applaud you for making them so BW-like. But it must be my screen, because I can't really tell what the transparent-looking white spots are. Clouds? Mist? Lighter grass path? Complicated watermark? IDK XD but regardless, lovely looking town~

Everything is a bit too bluey-green for my tastes but other than that I really like it. I would have changed maybe the roof colours to something else so they don't blend in with the trees and also the "greenhouse" needs more distinction between the wall and the roof. Right now it looks about as flat as a floor.
Oh and not really a criticism, but it looks like it's a fast flowing river with a big waterfall but seems to come to an abrupt end? I don't know much about flowing water but I think usually it has to keep going. Either into a large large lake or something, because the water pushing down would have to go somewhere?

That's a beautiful tileset if I've ever seen one. The colors mesh together to so well, I like the new depth to the Moutain tiles, the Buildings are just amazing and that water...I wish this was a real town. I'd love nothing more than to just take a dive in the water every day in the summertime...as long as there's nothing in there that can kck my ass lol. Beautiful job bro.
