Description
My beloved Princess Serenity cosplay costume. Fully made by me, from scratch, no patterns used except ones I drafted myself. All detail was hand sewn and hand beaded (individually). Wig was also made by me using a base and extensions.Taken by Filmshooter at San Japan Mach 5 (2012) in San Antonio, TX. Please see the original in his gallery when it is uploaded.
Minor color adjustments and mask recolor made in GIMP by CQ.

I'm pretty sure that this is the best Princess Serenity cosplay I have seen. The dress is beautifully constructed, especially the sleeves, which are the hardest part for most people to get right. And the top of the dress, don't even get me started, it's simply beautiful. Thank you making such a wonderful Princess Serenity cosplay

Amazing and gorgeous work! If you don't mind me asking, I'm a princess serenity cosplayer as well, and I can't figure out the best way to do the sleeves, how did you do yours?

Thank you ^_^. The sleeves were made with scraps of fabric left over from the rest of the dress. I used a kind of foam interfacing thing for the base, cut on a pattern I drew, and then added the scraps in similar shapes. It's built up in layers to get the 3D look.
