Hello people, what's up? I know it's been almost a year without publishing any drawing but let's say that I've been going through some complicated moments and I felt unmotivated but now I feel much better and I feel like publishing my illustrations.

And as you can see here I made this drawing of the new dreamworks movie. Since I knew about its existence I had no interest when I saw the image of the trailer because I thought it was just another Disney movie even though later I found out that there was a mermaid just like the Disney one but evil. So once I saw it, it honestly caught my attention and not only because of the mockery of the little mermaid with the Disney one, it is one of the few times that an animated movie catches my attention since the new ones hardly do it anymore, at least for me.

Today I just saw the movie and honestly I really liked it, I was not disappointed, I was satisfied. The animation of this movie is ok, it is not so outstanding unlike others like Spiderman across the spider-verse that has its animation at another level and so on.

As for the designs are fine, some I like and others not so much.

What stands out the most and literally steals the movie is the villain, what I would have liked is for her to appear a little more on screen because I feel that she appears very little.

The protagonist is also something that stands out in the movie, about how we are told about her teenage life and also see her other life as a kraken.

As a conclusion the movie is good, it is not the best movie of dreamworks, I would put it in the good pile, so it is a good movie but not that good. I recommend you to watch it with your family because I saw it alone in the theater
