Description
Shorter than a blade of grass this chipping sparrow looks perplexed on what to do to find food through the snow. The smallest obstacles can be the biggest challenges to some.Related content

Definitely a chipping sparrow. He's a cute little guy too. I don't see them around here that often, probably because of the Common Grackles and larger birds hogging the feeder.
But I love these birds. So much personality in a tiny feathered package.

This is a great photo- I only thing it should've been more centured- but then again, I also think you tried to show how small it was. Where was this taken?

Thanks for your comment, I thought about cropping it the other way but I wanted to imply how huge the tinest skiff of snow was to this lil bird.

I thoguht so- Maybe you should have a cropp-version in your scraps? And see if you like it better. That's what I do with some if my stuff, but I don't post a lot of photos on DA.

Im using second hand sources for the bird ID, so I may be wrong. I like to post images at fredmiranda.com they have a lot of bird and wildlife experts there in there nature photography fourm they help me identify the birds.
