I am sorry for what happened with you, and your stolen work. I am glad things got sorted out.
The thief is a friend of mine, and I know you're probably hurt from what happened, but he really isn't a bad guy. And he actually can take some pretty decent photos himself. I'll watch over him, and make sure he doesn't mess up again.
This is a very nice photo, very emotional. I hope it gets the exposure it deserves.

The action was horrible. I'm not trying to defend the action. I'm just hoping not to many people will end up hating my friend, because of his mistake. I'm glad you're taking it as well as you have.
I would like to know why he did it too, because he really is a great photographer on his own, but I don't think we'll ever get a good enough reason. There really was no reason he should have done that.

I am so sorry for that. I can't imagine how it must feel. You do deserve all the praise and favs he got. But you still have a chance to get a DD. You already know it was your photo that touched all those people, even if he got the attention for it. But you know it was you who created it, and put the message behind it, so who is to say you can't do it again? Just keep doing what you're doing, because you're good at, and I hope someday people will notice you for it.

Everything that happened here... someone stole your piece, posted it, got a daily deviation... that deviation was contested, deleted, but you never got the attention deserved --some art thief did. Right? That is part of the karmic bend of this piece. "Still not good enough,"; no kidding. This piece is fulfilling its own covenant. The piece is manifesting the intent behind it. I mean, that's what it looks like from here. In that way, if what I related above is accurate, this piece is the ultimate art work. Congratulations.

i'm so sorry about the whole thing with =drugs-and-groceries . I have lots of evidence that this is stolen too. Your picture has one download, which must've been him stealing this pic. Also, his doesn't tell what camera it was taken with, and it does that in the artists comments on every single photo on DA. What he did was just nasty.

I'm sorry someone stole this from you. Art thieves are really just pathetic, especially ones with the nerve to lay claim to the rewards given to their theft.
I don't like watermarks much either but they keep crap like this from happening so it's worth it.
There's a way to put watermarks on your art so that they look invisible. It's kind of a pain but you can mark your art without detracting from the image. The tutorial is here --> [link]

Sometimes I think everything I do is meaningless. Do you know? You work all night long for your job and get no attention. It is alway a person who can make it better. All my life I feel incomplete. I am alway the second best, ever a loser. I wasnΒ΄t the best in school, not successful in my job, wrong decisions and feeling ugly. The idea was giving me so long but I dont know how to project it. I hope ou can relate it.

It's not really your fault. Art thieves think that it's okay to take what ever they feel like. It's not. It's still someone else's. It's like "oh? this car isn't locked, I think I'll steal it!" I hate watermarks because they take from the work, but I always crop my work as well because the art thief could never produce the original full sized piece.
