Description I'm not against texting. In fact, I do so myself.
But, I hate when people text during a movie, especially when the lights are off, and I can see that screen glowing in the abyss. Even worse, when there's no decency to turn the sound off.
Or even take a phone call and talk during the movie.
I don't care if I hate the movie- I wanna pay attenton.

No talky and no texty-

kthxbai!

P.S. This counts for theatre productions and acts, too!

Thank You so much for this stamp. Texting during a movie is one of my biggest peeves. Last time I was in the theatre I had to switch seats because the person next to me phone was glaring in my face. Seriously, people can't turn their phone off for two hours?

.___. I listen to music during boring movies. Do you hate that too?

A bit. If I can see a screen glow or even hear a bit of it, I'll take that shit and toss it out the doors- there, no boring movie to watch and no disturbanc with my viewing(boring or not), problem solved.

I listened to music during Indiana Jones. But that couldn't possibly be as annoying as the lady sitting next to me shouting "I HATE THE RUSSIANS!" like thirty times. XD

Another thing I hate is crying children! O_O They really piss me off. The other night, we were performing at a choir concert and this lady would not take her baby out and it just kept screaming. I was about to run off the stage and smack someone! *shakes fist*

Not the baby's fault- the parents! My lord, I would feel the same.

As for the texting, talking, and crying- I hate when it takes place at a live theater performance. I aid as a lighting technician, so I did the spotlighting for two shows, and at a couple of them, I noticed people pulling out their phones. Fortunately, we called in the ushers to threaten them.
But yeah, really annoying.

Yeah, I am usually on stage or backstage so I freak out when I hear children or see phone screens in the audience. I don't know if they know that they are sitting in a DARK theater WITH NOT MUCH SOUND. The ringtones piss me off too.
