I RISE ONCE AGAIN FOR MY YEARLY UPDATESeriously, I apologize that updating takes me so long but life and junk
No worries-- I love making this comic and I'm seeing it through to the end. The end is just reeeally far away.
Thank you to everyone who reads! Y'all are great
...and I'm so, so sorry. I'll explain what happened in-game.
I lost Donalbain on Route 2, right after I caught him. He didn't even level up.
Namara and Timone both died while I was training for the first gym in the Dreamyard.
They all died during my first day of the playthrough-- my first nuzlocke, too (shows how much I sucked)-- and so early on that I didn't want the comic to have a death-after-death-after-death kind of start. I didn't want their deaths to be too early and end up meaningless, either-- so in taking my time with their deaths I tried to make the three of them into characters that I-- and hopefully, you guys-- would genuinely like.
(It worked for me-- I'm really going to miss these guys )
There's bound to be some sad moments along the way, but if nothing else, I want this comic to be fun and focus on the positives of my playthrough and my team-- because I had so much fun playing this game and planning out this story!
Sorry if this update bummed you out, but it had to be done. I'm just getting started-- I'm really excited for everything that's coming up. Thanks again to everybody who reads my stuff-- it means a lot

But seriously, I love how we don't get to see/hear Namara and Timone's last words. It makes it more painful that they died, since we don't get that closure. But getting Donalbain's final words also hit the heart because we got to see his regrets and waaaaah!!

Man, this update started off fine, with some funny back and forth between the twin grunts and everyone throwing around the munna like a football
But then Shit Got Real and now half the team is DEAD, mom holy fuck???
I really like how you saved the early-game deaths into one part in the comic that gave them more meaning, though. I was definitely liking Namara, Donalbain, and Timon 
Playing BW is a hard game to nuzlocke bc of the huge level jumps, but having it be your first nuz...? Damn, I feel so sorry for you xD
Well, the update was certainly worth the wait! Lots of dynamic stuff, and I got some good chuckles in before your team started to drop like flies :' )

5th gen meant a lot to me-- White was the first game and went and got on my own so when I decided to get into nuzlocking I wanted to start with my favorite gen.. but YEAH it wasn't easy! I still really liked it though and I hope I can get more updates out more often so we can get the team numbers back up lol

Ok I gotta ask did you really found a shiny, or did you added it just cuz? Also I think everyone has a hard time in their first run at a Nuzloke

I just made the grunts' Pokemon shiny because I really liked the color pallets! It also helped differentiate their Patrat from mine.
I actually DID find a shiny Fearow on this game after I was finished with my run, so I didn't get to use her but I was still super excited. She's the first shiny I've caught in one of the older games at full-odds

That make sense, a lot of trainers do have the pokémon that the player can catch and it might be a problem making sure readers know which pokémon belongs to who. Finding a shiny at full odds it's a lot more rewarding than finding one with the aid of a shiny charm. Even with the new lower odd it can still take hours or days to find one.

You're telling me-- when I got Moon, I loved shiny Rowlet/Decidueye's colors so much that i soft-reset until I got a shiny one to start the game with... it took 2 months. 2 MONTHS. But it was so worth it he's my pride and joy

wow when I first got moon I wanted a shiny Salazzle so I got a male cute charm Clefary I never got it my DS was broken so it shut off with out warning even if it was fully charge or plugged in, so I had to give up unfortunatly once my copy of Moon disappeared, I got a digital copy, I'm Nuzloking I did find a shiny Pikachu when I was using SOS battle to train my Bagon, kinda lucky cuz I was just about to run away since Bagon used all of it's moves PP's.
I seem to always find shinies when I go back to a route to train a Pokémon I add to my party I even found a shiny in X, I'm not telling which one cuz I do have my X Nuzloke comic and I don't want to spoil it but since my first attempt at a Nuzloke in Pokemon White I always find shinies while training in Nuzlokes, normal play trough I can spend moths before a shiny comes along.

Nice! I got a shiny Salazzle-- it took me a little while but I used a Cute Charmer too to help make sure it was a girl.
While I was training her I ran into a random shiny Trumbeak-- and I found 2 other random shinies throughout my game.... almost like they were taunting me for taking 2 months to get my starter hahaha. I never find shinies while playing normally so I was just laughing about it.
My favorite shinies are usually blue, black, yellow, and white-- or combinations of those! Do you have a favorite?

I like the pink, white, blue and depending on the shade some of the green ones but only if it looks good like Stoutland or the Rowlet line

I know the funniest thing is when I caught the shiny Lillpup I wanted to be surprised by the evolutionary line's shiny colors so when I saw shiny Stoutland I kinda laughed because when I caught the Lillpup I named it Loki
