this is lovely.
it gives me contradictory feelings. when i first saw it, the first thought that came to my mind was "cute". then i read the title (i always see things before i read them). then it made me think that I shouldn't think it to be "cute" at all.

in that sense, i don't think i understand it. but simply put, if i block out the animals snarling face, the picture is overwhelmingly adorable.

Thanks bear. I think for me it's more about trying to focus on accepting myself and seeing the goodness and beauty of my life. The creature is how I draw my worries, insecurities (see 'you are a burden' because that's kind of how it feels when I worry and obsess, like there's this thing on my back. Here it's a little more benign, but still there. Maybe it's part of the beauty.
