the room we were shooting in was filled with smoke from the smoke machine. and then some light right behind the model, boom.

It was a Hot light, it was on a set of a small student film.

nice play on shadows and lighting! I like how it's all silhouettes, except for some little parts where there is color, such as the hair and the mouth area. If you were to do this shot over, i would be interested in seeing some lighting on the face of the model as well, not sure how that would work out, it removes some of the mystery, but it might look interesting as well.
