with the original sailor gay pride approaching 1000 faves, i've been feeling inspired to do another pic of her. what i had in mind is really more of an action shot, but this will do for now. i've been in a painterly mood lately anyways, and who am i to deny my own muse?
so this is another speed paint. i lost track of time spent on it since it was all staggered, but i believe it took less than three hours. this is a very different look for sgp, and i really like the overall effect--her hair needs some help in the lower left corner though.

I do love this character, SGP is cool, even if I'm not GLBT I too have friends that are, but... it SGP male or female? I can't quite figure it out lol.

i get asked that question a lot, and lately i've been getting people requesting a more masculine version of her. however, since she is still a sailor moon oc and sailor moon has the grand tradition of an estrogen pumped cast, i think sailor gay pride is a woman. the real question is whether she's gay or bisexual. i haven't quite decided...
