A Greek Warrior cares not for a television show or movie, but for the scripts of literature. They had talent to get books written about them, and not just a comic.

That would be incorrect. For example, my best friend was not born with the talent of music but has taken over ten years to learn. Thus talent is the word I was looking for.

ARgh!!! That is not the true definition of talent! In the dictionary, it says: Natural aptitude or skill. Notice how it says natural. Some things do not come naturally to people, which is why the word skill (Definition: the ability, coming from one's knowledge, practice, aptitude, etc., to do something well) fits much better in both situations.
