Sergeant Anna, ISO, Violet Team, callsign Spec 2-9. It is not uncommon to hear a standard soldier within the Inkopolis Armed Forces question or joke at the fact that an otaku like Anna managed to earn a position within the nation's Tier-1 Special Forces. Despite these comments, Anna has demonstrated to be a valuable member to the ISO. Ever since she was a child, she has had a deep interest in anime and vtuber related content. Her love of computers arose when she turned 15, when she built her first PC. Her classmates often compared her to the typical highschool girl that would appear in the shows she would watch. When she turned 18, one of her longtime friends managed to convince her to enlist in the military. Despite her exemplary performance in basic training, Anna would often be picked on by trainees outside of her friend group for being rather open with her interests. She became a drone operator in the army following her basic training, much to the surprise of those who picked on her. Anna's time in the Army initially uneventful, with her main tasks consisting of maintaining electronic systems on base. Her former teammates within the army would note that her interest in anime would often "spill over" and blend with her work. She was known for decorating the controls of her drone with anime stickers, and would often be seen wearing her Inkblot Academy uniform underneath her issued vest. Anna's first taste of combat occurred during a deployment to the Middle-East when the FOB that she was stationed was suddenly attacked my insurgent forces. Anna hastefully scrambled to get a drone airborne to assist with the defense, quickly eliminating the initial wave of insurgents, and driving off the remainder. Only a few weeks later, she was ordered to redeploy in Inkopolis as Octavio and his army began their invasion. Anna assisted with the evacuation of several major cities across Inkopolis, providing air support and protection to evacuation convoys. Her most notable action during this time was when she was tasked with covering the retreat of Spec Ops' Blue team. Anna would manage to eliminate several of Octavio's helicopters and soldiers trying to shoot down Blue team's black hawk. When she was told that Blue Team made a safe landing, one of her friends jokingly said that because she saved Inkopolis' Tier-1 Special Forces members, she should apply herself. Anna would initially laugh off her friend's suggestion, but when one of Blue Team's members came over to personally thank her, she decided to apply. Much to the surprise of her friends, her fellow soldiers, and herself, she managed to be selected and pass the training process, earning a spot on the newly formed Violet Team. Despite her positive performance early on within Violet team, she often felt out of place. She became close to leaving the Spec Ops following the operation to sabotage an Octarian submarine base, where Violet team lost their medic. Thankfully, two members managed to convince her to remain with Violet team, those being her captain, Violet, and their machine gunner, Dozer. Her fellow teammates have noted that Anna started to become rather close to Dozer after the operation. Anna's teammates often question how the two managed to end up in such a positive relationship, considering the two being essentially polar opposites in terms of personality and interests. Anna would not see much action after as her team was withheld from participating in the elimination of Octavio and the remainder of his forces during the closing stages of the war. Anna would see combat once more during the Big Run Event, where she and the rest of Violet Team was sent to assist Blue Team with the defense of the Riverfront Bank. One interesting detail about Anna that her teammates have yet to fully understand is how she managed to bring out a more softer side from within Dozer. Anna is also known that despite her position in the Spec Ops, she still manages to blend her interests into her work, as she is often seen wearing her Inkblot Uniform skirt alongside her standard Spec Ops uniform, and she has customized her G36C to have an anime skin applied to it.

Sergeant Luna, ISO, Blue Team, callsign Spec 1-9. Luna is the current Tech Expert for the ISO's Blue Team, replacing Yu-Jin following her death. Despite being a member of the ISO, Luna is known for being rather silent and mildly timid. Her life remained rather uneventful before she became a member of the ISO. She was selected to join the ISO as her catlike agility that she demonstrated during training made her a valuable candidate. Luna is a former member of the ISO's Team-3, an ISO team which was disbanded following its near complete elimination during the closing stages of the war against Octavio. During this raid, She and her teammates were ambushed by Octavio's remaining forces while inside a warehouse of armored vehicles. One by one, her teammates were shot dead, including her captain. Soon, the team's size was reduced to just Luna, and the medic, Marco. As the two desperately tried to defend themselves, a grenade landed behind Luna. The grenade exploded, knocking Luna off her feet and rendering her unconscious. She was quickly dragged into a damaged APC by Marco to hide from the approaching Octarian forces. Thankfully, Marco managed to quickly bandage her wounds and assess her injuries, which included her cat tail being blown off and grenade shrapnel severely damaging her right eye. Luna would remain inside that APC alongside Marco until being found by Agents 3, 4, 7, and 8. Despite her injuries she would assist the agents in defeating Octavio, by fixing up an abandoned Rocket system so the agents could use it against Octavio's Octobot. After she recovered from her injuries, Luna was transferred over to the ISO's Blue Team, where she would see combat again during the Big Run Event. She was in charge of relaying the situation between her Captain and the commanders overlooking their operation. When the situation turned for the worse when Blue and Violet team ran low on ammo, the salmon began breaking down the barricade to the bank interior, and losing contact with their commanders, she made a desperate call to any friendly forces for assistance. Her actions would be successful as the call was picked up by aircraft carriers belonging to the US Navy and Mushroom Kingdom Royal Navy, which sent jets to provide crucial air support that saved her, her teammates, and civilians' lives.
