I like the way you have mixed squares/sharp lines and soft blending in the background, it contrasts and therefore highlights the smooth and rounded elements of her figure.

great use of tone. How do you get the skin to look so smooth? my charcoal studies just end up making the people i draw look like zombies half the time.

you have to start off really ligh and gradually build up the tone, therefore it is easier to smothen out the tone and you can lift out the charcoal easier. i used my fingers to smooth out the tones too.

Great lite, but the curve of the underarm (the armpit) and the cleft of the buttocks are lacking in an angle.

Wonderful use of stark lighting and high contrast. Your rendering of the skin and the proportions of the body were both very well executed. I also like the way that the feet fade away from your immediate focus.
