It's amazing how much you can progress in a relatively short space of time. I originally inked this amazing Jim Lee page for my portfolio back in June of last year, (you can find my first attempt here [link] ) and recently I've found myself looking at it and utterly hating it. Really, it's awful.So, I decided to redo it, and, really, I'm pretty pleased with the results. I think it certainly shows the progress I've made recently.

This is a nice improvement over the first attempt. Your feathering is coming along nicely, (some of the best I've seen digitally) though there are still a few spots where it's not quite rounding with the form and causing the work to flatten out, like Batman's forehead in panel 6.
Also be careful not to add too many feathering lines. If this where to got to print the feathering in that bottom row of panels run the risk of closing up. To test this size the inks to a comic size and print out a copy to see what it looks like off the screen. Like digital coloring, don't zoom in too far. You don't want to waste time on details that aren't going to show up in the final product.
Nit picks aside, you did a fine job here. Keep up the good work.

which program do you use for inking, manga studio?
or traditional technique?

I mainly use Adobe Illustrator, but I have used Manga Studio.

I like this a lot, I love the details. The only parts I don't like that much are those lines that are more loose, like the white ones, below Batman eye in the last panel, and sometimes there's a bit overload of lines too, like in Superman's face in the 5th panel. Other than that, great job.

I personally prefer the first version
I think you put too much detail in the shadings, and it disturbs me.
But, again, this may be just me!
I just thought you may be interested in different opinions (I'm a reader of mainstream comics).

I think you did a great job with this piece and have made some amazing progress since last June. There is no substitute for hard work and the more you ink and study great inkers work the better you will get. It's that simple. Looks like you have got that formula down!
