how long have you been digital painting..do you do those speed painting videos on youtube

I started on and off back in 2008, but I wasn't very serious about it. I've been doing it seriously (meaning everyday) for about 2 years. I do have some speed painting videos on youtube. They were all done in 30 minutes sharp and I speed them up 7x, so they are pretty short.

holy crap two years, ive got a long way to go i would go to school for it but i don't think teachers would be able to teach me
that much i would still be doing a lot of the learning on my own so that would be awesome if you did tutorials, but you have a pretty unique style as much as i want to learn to do digital painting like you
i feel like you would be showing the secret to your magic trick, then a million people can figure out how you do it and youll have to up your game.....you know what forget i said that teach me haha

I wouldn't go to art school, it's expensive and no one cares if you have a degree anyway. You only get out of it what you put in, so if your serious just learn on your own. There's a lot of great resources available, many of them free. Whether you're just starting out with digital painting or a seasoned pro, this guy's got tons of amazing tutorials available www.ctrlpaint.com/
