Description
It takes quite a lot more discipline for me to draw emotional sequences now after that whirlwind action packed fantasy ride with Skyworld. This new project is taking more time to finish but still fun to execute.Related content

I'm wondering why the white streak on his hair stood out in the blackout. o - o

Just thought it would be different from other black outs pondering if i should do this execution for his silhouettes for the whole book... what do you think?

Just by looking at it I wonder why his streak stood out.
Or, if you like, maybe you can keep the streak to distinguish him from other characters' silhouettes so readers would know that it is him.

It definitely fits the scene, IMO.

That's really sweet <3
I have a question: how do you decide on projects to do? Do people approach you? Do you collab with friends? Or do you write them yourself? (I know Mervyn Ignacio wrote Skyworld but who made up the initial idea?)

Well, usually everything starts with a few bottles of beer. When i met Mervin years ago i already had the idea of making a tikbalang story. originally we just wanted a 12 page action scene and it just blew up from there. I have known David Hontiveros for quite a while and we just talked about a Kadasig story that led to "Katumbas" in Summit's Underpass. This project was pitched to me by my good friend and ex officemate Russell Molina. We had a few talks about it over drinks and it felt like a good break from the action/fantasy stories i've been drawing. So yeah... mostly it's a collaboration with friends

Man, that is awesome. Always starts with a small idea I'm excited to see you guys in komikon. Myself and a friend might be releasing a comic then (first time getting a table, maybe, yay!).
I have not seen David Hontiveros' Kadasig outside of Underpass. Where has he appeared before? He seems so very interesting!
And your project... does it have any info yet? Name? Story? Or is it still a secret? >:3
