Well, the party I am playing with Astrid is finishing soon. There have been a lot of changes on her in this time, as I wrote on my last journal, and I wanted to draw her in a way that reflected a more balanced character. She is still her, but she has been forced to mature in a lot of ways, and I wanted a look that showed a little less snarky and feral attitude, and more of a determined, focused and maybe a little wiser look.Maybe it just looks like another portrait with a different hair again
But I hope you like it anyway^^

Maybe, although it's her "husband" the prime leader, she probably will be the equivalent of their queen, if things work out for her

And that really shows. I've said it before, but expressions really are your strong suit.
Ah, few things are more satisfying than a character with a good character arc. And maturing is a very satisfying way of character progression. Β I can't help thingking about Akriss (the blonde I had you draw), I get the feeling she and Astrid has a lot in common.

Very nice. She does indeed look like she matured. Sure there's a reason too for the black for the black markings and lips that relates to that.

Yeah, I wanted to convey a little feeling of royalty in a tribal kind of way, because she is probably becoming the equivalent to a queen for her tribal people.
