Acrylics on traditional 16" x 20" canvas.For anyone having trouble reading the gangster old english lettering...
Right arm: AKATSUKI KILLER
Left arm: TEAM 7
He also has Konoha symbols on his shoulder and elbow.
Additional info about the painting:
I had seen this thing on supposedly the most violent gang in the US called the Maras that originate from a some other country but have made a lot of noise here. They are more violent than the Latin Kings, Bloods or the Crips. They are covered in tattoos, like even more so than normal gang members. Google image search MARA GANG if you want to see want Im talking about.
So anyway, I'm watching this documentary on them and this guy throws up one of the many gang signs this group has, the double K's seen above, which is like a generic way of throwing up KILLER. Its pretty much a universal gang sign. So I thought it would be awesome to have Naruto throwing up the killer K's and throw some ink on him to see if I could give him a bit of a harder image.
I also thought K was appropriate for Konoha and my friend Aaron said it stood for Kage King XDDD
I tried so freaking hard on this and I have to thank Kelsie, Julia and Neven for giving me some awesome feedback along the way. It REALLY helped. Jean Pierre's only hurt XDDDDDDD I really hope you guys like it <3

wow that was just way i love the way you made the body proportion and the shade you really left depth in what you did this was extreme. there isnt a thing you left out i mean wow how you had the face and arms fixed that left a real imprecation in my head then the tatto that was just crazy akasuki killer plus the paint and how you made the fingers ready for combat was even more intense
then any otherthing that you did this is just a fine piece of art keep doing what ur doing man amazing

All i can say is WOW this is such a good painting. You clearly understand the concept of originality and Naruto being in sage mode puts the cherry on the cake. The only bad thing i can say about it is the lack of detail on the lower part of the face but even that isn't very bad. One thing i love is the detail on the tattoos its very gangster-like. You did a very good job on the shading and i love the concept of him being a in a gang and i think that this would make a very excellent art series if you did it with all of team 7 or even all of the teams.
I think the best part of the picture is the tattoos there very unique especially for Naruto.

I would like to begin this off with this is by far one of your best paintings you have ever done. This is beautifully painted and it excudes power and raw emotion. I have told you before your paintings which give off emotional feeling are best paintings. Unlike those, this one shows great execution as well. The painting is clean with smooth transitiong of color over for the most part.
The texture of his hair is amazing, almost givies it that alive look. But the painint around the side burns could have been worrked on just a little bit more.The head band is well painted and it actually looks like metal and that brings my eyes down towards Naruto's eyes. When you look at them, this is the source of the emotion in this painting. It really reayds that "Hey, I'm going to kick your as, you better not mess with me" then the shadowing around his face really adds to the expression.
His skin is very well down. As I said, the shadowing and light source is absolutely perfect. The only thing I have to say there is maybe just a bit of a smootheredge on the arms with the shadowing and make the tattoes a bit darker around the shading not much but just a little bit. And, the tattoo's look real on Naruto. I think you had attempted tattos on one of your other paintings but it hadn't been the best execution of it. Here though, these look like its actually apart of his skin and they are very well done. Another thing I know of your improvement in this picture, is the hands. They are very well done in this picture, good job! ^^
