I got a few requests to include the list in a seperate journal entry, so here it is! I was also requested to include download links/info etc to the games. I'll do my best, but I haven't got time to search for all of them/play all of them, so if anyone could provide me with links, brief descriptions, or titles of new games, that would be fantastic!
For some of the games there will be a lack in information, usually either for a plot synopsis or for warnings regarding triggers, gore, violence etc. These will usually be caused by my not having played the game, so if you see one of the listed games lacking information, please feel free to provide it in the comments.

This is a list of games similar to Ib by kouri. The themes are relatively short, mild horror/puzzle RPG games for PC. Free and by independant game creators. Majority are created in RPGmaker and require RTPmaker to play (it's free and easy to download!).

(Pronounced similarly to 'Eve') A game about a girl who gets locked in a gallery. Strange things start to occur.
Relatively short and not too difficult or scary. Developed plot and characters. There are some themes of death, murder and exhaustion.

(English translation: Blue Demon.) About four friends who decide to explore a haunted mansion.
Similar length to Ib. Contains a few jump-scares and puzzles, but nothing too difficult. Focuses less on plot and more on survival-horror.

About a girl who goes to explore a house in the woods, led by a cat. The house contains many dark secrets.
Slightly longer than Ib, and considerably scarier. The puzzles are not too difficult, and focus more on reflexes/retries than logic. Not much dialogue, but fairly developed characters. Contains blood and more severe horror elements than Ib.

About a few students who go to an elementary school that was previously occupied by a school where many murders of staff and pupils occurred. The students are transported into an alternate dimension where they are haunted by the ghosts of the murdered staff and pupils.
PEGI rating 16. Very graphic and contains dead bodies/rape scenes.

(Shortened to TML) About a little girl who explores an empty house with no visible means of escape. Focuses on open interpretation by the player.
Fairly short and strange. It is very open-ended to allow the player to think about its meaning. Very little plot.

Apparently a sad, short, and sweet game about two doctors who travel the memories of a dying man to fulfil his final wish. As far as I am aware, there are no horror elements.
Sadly not free, however there is a free 1 hour demo trial available.

You play as a guy who loved a girl so much to the point of killing her (yep). You are given a 'Clock of Atonement' for a chance to repent for what you did.
The game focuses on saving the girl; apart from that the plot is not too developed as far as I have heard. As made obvious by the synopsis, it contains some horror elements.

(Translation: Guilt) About a man who finds himself in a dying world without knowledge of how he got there.
Relatively short. Not too complex, fairly easy puzzles. Contains surreal/psychological horror.

About a woman named Sandra who heads towards a certain city, however upon meeting two other stranded people, she realises that they are trapped, and the city has some dark secrets of its own.
Supposedly it is more adventure than horror, but again, proceed with caution. I haven't played this game.

You take control of a mysterious person who is described to be on a mission. You start in zone 0, the first of 4 zones in a world which you gradually learn more about as you play.
It is a little creepy and does have some pop-up images, but nothing too serious.

A girl bullied by everyone went missing. Everyone related to the girl in some way have been trapped in another world. Other than this I have no other information, but it is apparently an extremely good game.
According to the translator, it contains some grotesque imagery, and depictions of violence, bullying, sexual assault, and murder. The whole game is basically a trigger. Proceed with caution.

Within a mansion in Germany, a girl lives peacefully with her father. However, one night vengeful spirits overtake the mansion, and the girl must try to save her father - if she still wishes to, after finding out his dark secrets.
Contains horror elements and implied violence.

A man named David moves into a new apartment, however after some strange occurences, decides to investigate the previous owner of the apartment. Desperate to know more, he heads off on a search.
There are some jumpscares and moderate themes of suicide, depression and violence.

A girl and her friends have their car broken down in the mountains while on a trip. Fortunately, a kind old man allows them to stay at his house. However, there is a legend regarding the swamp outside.
There are supposedly some nude scenes, although nothing serious. I don't know about horror elements, so proceed with caution.

A third grader goes to stay at his grandmother's house, but upon his return home, he finds not his hometown, but a ruined place of death. He meets some other survivors, but a crueler reality awaits them.
This game does contain gore and various other disturbing or upsetting imagery.

It starts off with a woman who wakes up in a dark, and rainy street with absolutely no memory of how she got there. She wanders around the city streets, and makes certain discoveries as she progresses. The game is incomplete at the moment, and immediately shuts off when a certain point in the game is reached.
Leans more toward mystery and psychological elements.

(Translation: Dream Diary) About a girl whose life is nothing more than dreams.
Can take a long time to complete. Very difficult and abstract, with little plot. The game is less about storyline and more about interpretation. Not scary as such, but it does have some images and scenes which can be considered disturbing or haunting. Also contains flashy stuff, so epilepsy warning. There are many spin-offs of this game which are listed below.

As far as I'm aware, most of them are pretty similar, although differ in graphics styles and themes etc, as well as varying levels of horror and disturbance.

However as there are many lists of Yume Nikki fangames out there, I ask that you refrain from submitting any of those here; I'd like to keep this particular journal for individual games, not spin-offs.
