EDIT: I've got 5 new admins now, which I think should be sufficient for the time being because there isn't too much work to be done in this group. So because of that, unless someone changes their mind, I doubt we'll be needing any more admins. Your new ones are now (or soon will be) listed on the front page in the co-founders box. Please contact them instead of me from now on! To my new admins, I'd like to say thanks first of all for taking on the job, & secondly that I hope you will all do a good job of keeping the group active, welcoming & artist friendly! I would ask that everyone keeps enforcing the same rules, especially the ones regarding stolen/traced art, with as much diligence as you can manage as art theft I've noticed has been the only problem in this group I've found so far and I want to keep it as safe for artists as I can, even when I'm no longer running it.

Helloooo everyone. Basically I have been really busy lately & b/c I go on dA very rarely now I tend to forget about approving submissions, so they expire and so on, it's a pain. Also, a lot of time has passed so I have more or less stopped keeping up with Ib news - that in addition to the fact that there ISN'T much Ib news anyway.. Kouri has stated that he won't be making a sequel, I believe, & I haven't heard news of any new merchandise. Furthermore I have different interests now & I don't really have the dedication to keep up with the Ib fanbase. I feel very bad because this group is so dead and a lot of really amazing art has been submitted and expired because I check it so rarely.

Soo essentially I am reaching out to you... if anyone would like to become an admin and more or less take over the running of the group, please send me (my account, not the group) a note. Multiple people can, if they want, since that would make the group easier to manage! Ideally someone who would:

Be dedicated to keeping activity going e.g. Running contests every now and then, etc
Remain interested in Ib & similar franchises, & keep up to date with Kouri/Vgperson's news
Regularly check and approve/deny submissions appropriately, according to the rules
Manage the group in a mature, professional and easygoing way

I am proud of this group and how big it's become - in fact I don't think submissions have slowed down once since I opened it and new members are constantly joining every day. I feel like this group deserves someone (or multiple someones) who's more dedicated to the game, characters and fans than I am! I do still like Ib & all, but I don't have the time to put all my attention & effort into running a community like this.
If you wanna be an admin, just send me a note saying why & telling me that you're interested in keeping things going via contests, themes, etc. We can take things from there. If I don't get anyone interested, this group will probably continue to be neglected & I would be sad to see that happen
