To celebrate the arrival of my new lightbed scanner... i did a quick sketch of my favorite necron masters... the star-gods--- the C'Tan! YAY! Creations attributed to Games Workshop and their property, Warhammer 40k. And thumbs up to the 40kOnline.com members.Related content

What I thought when I saw this:

I still can't visualize that thing latching onto a star and devouring it, maybe if it was the size of a large Titan but even then Titans are rather small. Allegedly the Necrontyre could see the Ctan devouring planets from the surface of their own.

That observation is incorrect. The document states that the beings fed upon stars. You are expanding the idea that they are these massive creatures that latch onto things... but these creatures did not have a physical form until the Necrontyr created one for them. The physical size of a C'Tan is limited to the extent of the necrodermis allowed for them. The Deceiver has been known to take on human size and form. None of the C'Tan were said to be titanic, but it isn't outside their power to transform themselves to that size. The C'Tan also do NOT devour planets, as much as they devour the energy of lifeforces, hence why they HARVEST. Thus the worlds they've been on become barren of life.

Ah but it is said that they could see the ctan from their planet IE they must have had physical form I don't see much of anything correct in your statement either ;D
