Mabel is a gentle girl, always taking care of others around her and even those whom she isn't that close with. A bit like a mom, her motherly side always comes out whenever there's a chance for it to blossom. Along with her gentleness, she's well-mannered and very polite with her words. She never says anything mean, and even when she is trying to be mean, she puts her insults down onto the table in the most adorable and sweet way. But, putting aside her small tantrums, she is positive about everything - always seeing the beauty in things that are probably not pretty. Even frogs, no matter how scary they may be, she still thinks they might have some sparkle in them. Maturity and patience comes along with her motherly instincts, allowing her to take on issues without getting too agitated.

No matter how sweet and nice she may be to others, it doesn't exactly mean she is to herself. Being a skunk, it means she would have to endure the foul smell she thinks she gives off, making her insecure about it. She tends to apologize a lot and be ashamed because of this reason, thinking that maybe it might be a bother to others around her. She is also pretty clumsy and emotional, always crying for even the smallest of things. And with this, she's also very shy and fidgety, always being the scaredy cat of the group. She's not at all confident with herself, so she tends to be as careful as possible to not end up in any bad situations.

▌History

Mabel was born to be the small runt of a set of five kits. Being the smallest, she was far more frail in terms of physical strength and even her health, consantly getting ill in the cold nights of winter and spring. Whenever summer came, she would often rejoice, for the warm weather approached, allowing her to be more free. By the time she grew older and was time to start their own lives as fully grown 'adults', she sought out for a place to live in. Eventually, she came accross Kemi Tree - somewhat of a 'boarding house' for different creatures. She was amazed by the variety of creatures here, both big and small, real and mythical. But, what amazed her the most, was the seasoning tree; how it divided itself in the four seasons and brought each individual creature the chance to live in their favorite season. Although she has always been amazed by the white snow from the winter, the blooming flowers of spring, and the pretty golden colors of autum, Mabel decided to live in the summer.

✻ Has a collection of perfume bottles from the many she buys.
✻ The perfume is to mask her stench! Please, don't ever mention her bad odor nor her bath of perfume. Both are strong scents.
✻ She's super sensitive, she cries if she feels like she's being a bother.
✻ Notice she likes rivers and creeks but not swimming, that's because she can't nor does she likes getting her tail wet. It gets heavy when wet.
✻ She usually just sits on the edge and soaks her feet in the water, or just sits nearby with a book.
✻ She really likes the language of flowers, win her over with that.
✻ She likes to hang out in autum and sometimes winter, but she covers up with layers and layers of clothing.
✻ She doesn't wear pants because she feels restricted in them. Shorts are okay, but she still prefers her skirts.
✻ Bralettes are her favorite undergarment, especially if they're lace.
✻ She sleeps in her undies due to the summer heat - she can't really sleep if it's too stuffy in the room.
✻ Geek for frozen yogurt and ice cream. She also likes fruit leather!
