Who knows? Given that the talon symbol is missing from Tracer she may be back in overwatch's side, but that could just be a mistake from the artist.

Ah, this is telling me this was a simulation. Even so, the fact D.va took actual damage to a huge percentage of her body tells me this test might have been real. Where would Talon risk sending one of their weapons like this, I wonder? How long will it take for D.va to be repaired? Will her mech be rebuilt, or will she get a new one?
On the plus side, the transformed Tracer seems to be happy for the result. Or, maybe she's always happy. Being an inhuman weapon will do that to you. This was a great set of images, in any case!

I would think some sort of combination.
In order to stand and move thereβs need to be some sort of solid structure. She seems to be able to change from liquid to solid at will meaning she must be near freezing at all times. The freezing point of Mercury is around -38Β°F so it wouldnβt be impossible to cool her body to near that point but to change that quickly it would need to be a drastic change. So in the long run it might be cheaper to just brainwash her. Or itβs just magic or something.

Well, i think the mercury term is a misnomer, since they're basically just like the t-1000 (correct me if i'm wrong with the no.) in that their bodies can be malleable like liquid mercury or as hard as steel, depending on their liking.
Personally, I'd prefer her footsteps be the clicking of their metal heels. It gives them a nice ominous feel. (And it sounds sexier,imo)

The clear answer is that she can move utterly silently if she wanted to, but still chooses to have a click.Β Because she likes the sound it makes and the air it gives off.
