I love fractal designs, but they can look garish and even kitsch. The restrained metallic rendering of this one and the fact that it reminds me of a Byzantine church endeared it to me at once.

I thought this was a church roof at first! The color saturations are just right, and the range of luminosity values is wide enough, to make this resemble beautiful gold jewelry. Great work, the artistic value far transcends its mathematical perfection.
