Description
Here is the ponysona which I promised *Archaeidae a while back. ^^Her name is Saving Throw. She runs a small game store out of Ponyville called "Natural Twenty", which receives a moderate amount of business from the various pegasi, earth ponies, and the odd unicorn or two who dwell in Ponyville and occasionally want a good game. She is practiced in most board and card games, but her specialty is the new adventure game known as Dungeons and Dragons, for which she hosts many gaming sessions in her shop. They're free for all, provided you bring your own pieces, otherwise she has many fine figurines for sale which she painstakingly painted herself. So feel free to stop by and play a game or two!
Her cutie mark is a twenty sided die, which has landed on a natural twenty. This of course denotes an great talent in the arena of board and adventure games.
~Couple of hours or so, Adobe Illustrator CS4, 68 layers.

If you're at all familiar with 3.5 rules, I have a thing for you to look at.
It's from a variant system made by people who performed a great many tests on 3.5, trying to fix everything that was broken.

Regardless of balance, how well does it fit, thematically? Are these things it's appropriate for her to have on hand, even if she doesn't need to use them?

There's a four armed gargoyle not 20 minutes into the module. It's a required fight. You can't skip it and finish. The thing is capable of doing around 150 damage/round on average. Oh this mod is available for 4e by the way. It's... more gentile. It's hard as far as 4e mods go, but 4e was never intended to actually kill characters.

it also had about 50 pages added for 4e. Originally it just starts with the players in front of the tomb, 4e has about 5 hours with of story before you actually hit THE TOMB. All I have to say is, Acerack is an ASS. Reverse gravity traps are not cool. Neither is the lava pit, the room that trimmers constantly, the room that shifts alignments, the room that has an exploding alter (which you have to explode to progress, mind you), or the room where if you put the wrong key in the whole the floor shunts up to the ceiling (Dealing 20d20 damage in the 3.5 version). Oh and it has 2 false entrances... both of which are entirely capable of killing you outright.
Do not play that mod unless your group likes to think about things. It is by no means a hack and slash mod. It actually warns you about that in every version of the mod except the 4e version.
