EDIT : Some of you (on Reddit and Twitter ) told me that the face of Pikachu was weird. I did agree with you, so I took time to refine this little buddy.
Moreover, I added a template and I blurred a little the background.
EN - Pikachu / Onix was a fight I've always loved when I was a kid. Electric type shouldn't win against a rock type, but this is what makes the anime's scene so memorable. I think I will paint other epic fight scene with the first generation of Pokemon who are fighting their opposite type !
FR - Le combat Pikachu/Onix m'a toujours fasciné quand j'étais petit. L'électricité ne devrait pas battre la roche, mais c'est ce qui rend la scène si mémorable dans le dessin animé. Je pense que je ferai d'autres scènes dans ce genre avec la première génération de Pokemon affrontant son type opposé.

it's absolutely beautiful. a memorable scene with an original and epic twist. it perfectly captures the motion between the two Pokemon, and the scenery is exquisite. it greatly shows the brightness of the electricity, the fluffiness of the fur, the grittiness of the ground, and the roughness of the stone. the amount of care and detail is beyond belief and looks just about real but still preserving the fantasy aspect. it also gives amazing depth and perspective, perfectly capturing the great size difference between Onix and Pikachu. And there's even an almost indescribable aspect to this amazing work of art!

I really love this! I remember watching this, as an 8 year old Pokemon nerd, and kind of upset that an electric type would beat a rock/ground type. Now I look at it and see that it's highly possible. Great artwork! It shows some amazing graphics, and it's juts glorious all around. One of the best works I've ever seen on here, no kidding. XD Also, PIKACHU IS SO ADORABLE! XD <3
