I like that song And seemed pretty fitting for this here picture. Dis be a huge thank you gift for =Horsesnhurricanes for buying me a 3 month subby out of stinkin NOWHERE! I logged on and was like whaaaaaa? And, cause hes one cool kid

So, this is his Derecho who is full of awesomeness (I'm thinking of uploading a pic of just him cause I liked the way he turned out) I've finally figured out a way to color markings that isn't a pain in the neck. I feel sortof like a cheater, but it gives me more patience to put the effort into a different part of the picture He was a lot of fun to draw though for sure Now, for the meaning behind the madness

I initially did another picture for him, but it was full of yuck, so I started over with this. And, it not only turned out WAY better, but it has more meaning (like my other pieces) then the first one. And, not only does it mean something for him, sortof did for me too (Yay happy vent arts! ) But, initally it was just a picture with a cool tree on the skyline, but it was also turning out really lame, so I was looking around at different trees, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE cherry blossom trees (wish we had some up here ) And I got to thinking, life is sortof like a cherry tree. It's full of beautiful flowers. But, not all of them are worth our time, some don't work out, some wither away, some we never get to see. Some come and go, some blow right on past us with the winds of change, some seem juuust barely out of our reach. But, there are some that we want to treasure forever, some that compliment us and make us beautiful. And with passing storms (hence the receding clouds) the flowers that still stick around, or the new flowers that come our way, those are the ones worth hanging on too.

Now, interpret what you want the storm and what exactly the flowers are. The storm could be a loss, stress, a fight, work, a person, some trial of some sort. And the flowers could be a person, a place, a job, a hobby, a pet, something you want, an opportunity. But don't let the coming storms get you down, because life is full of them, theres no escaping them. And don't try to keep all the flowers, it's like chasing after the wind. Don't get too discouraged when a flower slips through your grasp, because surely another one will come by, and well maybe not fill its place, but make the loss easier to bear. Hold onto those flowers that you love, that make you complete.

Wowza, look at that WALL of text! Anywho, about the actual drawing, I found out I really love drawing cherry blossoms, albeit it was a naked one I forgot to make the branches sort of sway toward Derecho though Oh well, I'm happy. BUT, I drew all of those flowers by hand, individually It was a little bit easier then I had expected, but man, was a pain. Glad it's over Sorry the grass is crappay, I couldn't get it too look right, so I did it like that. And, I guess it's semi ok.

So, I shall quit typing cause that was a lot

Oh! Forgot ~Huntress614 tagged me

1) I usually sit in the same place to draw, I need to find a new place then the floor though cause my legs start hurting after a while, lol.
2) I feel really bad I've been a horrible commenter lately Srsly, I need to work on that
3) My closest friends are way older then I am.
4) I've had stitches 4 times now. *is klutz*
5) I love jogging and biking, even in the winter. I've been looking for a pair of studded tires for my bike as of late, they're spendy though
6) I always look forward to hoar frost
7) Lately I've been helping my aunt and uncle with some of their business (cake baking and web design (if youre in the market for either, lemme know ) But I've really been enjoying it Using my art for something useful.
8) My dogs can tell when I'm sad, and they always make me feel better
9) December and January SUCKED *is not thrilled*
10) I'm horribly indecisive sometimes. And I'm a push over. One of my least favorite qualities.
