Nope, its all rendered/drawn by hand except the clouds which I extracted from a NASA image.
I drew the land/sea freehand, added colour, patterns for the terrain - look.
Then added layer effects to the Earth to create the atmosphere.
The stars are rendered using scattered brushes and also with small pixelated brushes.
The comet is drawn freehand and blended using highlights and smudging.
