Description A creature of myth,
Or so many believe-
They fill fairytales,
Novels,
And haunts the past.
It's fierce eyes,
Gazing upon you,
staring into your being-
It's fiery breath,
The stench of lost souls-
Dried blood upon its talons,
A victim of the past-
The dragon's burning heart,
Driving his wings-
To spread his will-
To soar through the sky,
claiming it as his own-
The creatures driven,
By they're own being.

i love dragons myself but they all aren't carnivoruos killers some are great poets or novelists or warriors if only you take the time to look

I understand that. lol This poem wasn't meant to display every single dragon in fantasy, however I do see your point. I actually have done quite a few more edits to this one and I might do a few more dragon based poems except with other natures of dragons. It just depends on when I have the chance to.

I have too many dragon books, my shelves are a shrine to them, my walls, my work, and even my rock collection is a shrine to them. So fascinating. But it was a good read, though I think you could have added a bit more detail to it and made it longer.

I know what you mean. It takes me a month to do some of my masterpieces when I have school work to do, but other times, I have to get motivated tyo work. I have a dragon pocket knife somewhere, that things almost over the legal limit for length though I even had a ring with a dragon on it, and a necklace that was a dragon wrapped around a sword, which looked more like a dragon wrapped around a cross.
