So here's some proper madoka magica fan art, finally. I've had the composition in mind for a couple months now and figured I should finally do it!
Madoka and Homura ;-;
watercolor for the figures, my own textured paper and scrapbook paper, all cut with scissors, with real clock hands and chain, on 8.5 x 14 in. illustration board, background painted in acrylic with silver metallic ink for stars.
The original is for sale for $65 + shipping for those who are interested.

Your art has come such a long way from what I remember. This is absolutely stunning. I remember back when Nilla was a little grey lion and you had another character... Indie, I believe? Anywho, the details in this is amazing. I love how you incorporate mixed media in your paintings. You captured the expressions in their faces very well. I'm almost jealous, you can draw both animals and people very, very well. Haha <3 I could actually write paragraphs on each and every piece of art in your gallery xD Which is surprising because I rarely take the time to write out these comments in the first place.

Oh wow, this is absolutely stunning. The layering of different mediums, especially those chains, is really amazing!
The muted colors are beautiful too; they give an almost storybook-like feel to the scene.

This is incredible. I can't imagine how much time it must've taken to cut out all the pieces, but it sure looks great. The composition is also good, there's depth in it despite the round gears. The chains and clock hands are a nice finishing touch, I'd love to see you using more 3D-stuff in drawings

I definitely will though! I just... need to get an exacto knife for this stuff from now on, it was a major pain to have to get some of the inside areas with scissors xD

oh wow I thought the whole thing was painted! the texture is amazing however when I look closer! Great idea n u n
probably would have been hell to do but layering pieces of the characters would have been awesome :3 but the piece is still amazing.
