-Goldstone was always super busy and thought NBP was a distraction so she ignored her and NBP did nothing but stand by the door for like hundreds of years :'0
-Then Blue Goldstone went missing so Night Blue Pearl became ownerless
-meanwhile Black Labradorite, a researcher specializing in corruption, made a huge breakthrough discovery and raised in rank (gg he broke the system π)
-he got a pearl: Night Blue Pearl! hell yeah
-she's much more of an assistant/partner with Black Lab rather than the trophy wife she was to Goldstone, she helps him with work and stuff π
-he calls her Night (individualism wowie) and she calls him Labby or Dory or literally anything lol
-dumbasses eventually fell in love... so dumb... omfg
-but they're on homeworld so like, in public they're all serious and straight faced and behind doors they have meme wars and probably play twister at midnight with fruit punch and pretzels
