Gem(s) Location and Cut: Left shoulder socket; upside down teardrop shape

Appearance: He has fluffy medium length hair that curls around his face. He has a strike of yellow across his face just like his gem, as if he were struck by lightning.
He wears a periwinkle colored collared shirt partially covered by the gold cummerbund at his waist. A dark blue cape hangs from his right shoulder and falls down to boot level. He wears heeled boots to look taller.

Height: 5'9"
Weapon: Hydrokinesis, usually uses a water arm

Personality: Although he can seem cold and demanding at first, it is only so because he believes the ship can run the smoothest through given orders and organization. Despite being a bit bossy, most gems can eventually come to accept him as efficient and orderly with his busniness and overall a pretty solid leader. However, he seems like a completely different person when speaking to a superior in a 1on1 long conversation or report: he has trouble explaining his convoluted plans in words and comes across as awkward, haughty or dismissive. When talking to colleagues or subordinates in a conversation, he usually plays it off smooth and ends up looking like the cool kid.
He usually hides his self-consciousness about his lack of an arm, but sometimes it slips.

Abilities: Standard gem abilities, hydrokinesis, minor electrokinesis
Because of the pyrite inclusions, his hydro powers are not as strong as canon Lapis, but he also has electric powers. So he can make thunderstorms.

Story: He was made in the Kindergarden and came out physically defective without an arm and all, but his utilization of his unique combination of abilities led him to be a powerful gem nonetheless. He started out as a mate to boatswain on the ship and was very good at his job thanks to his passion and will to organize and lead. His predecessor and superior, Navy Goldstone, perished all too soon and in an executive decision from Black pearl Lapis was put into the position of boatswain despite not yet receiving all the training originally required. His job is stressful and a lot of work, but he loves showing that he is fully capable so he works the ship and crew at maximum efficiency.
