Personality: Yasu is a well-behaved, calm and collected young boy with good manners. Even tough he doesn't talks much, he is often smiling and is always being polite. Being the most mature one in the Polar Star Dormitory, some inhabitats view him as some kind of big brother. He does always always helps when he is needed and comforts a dormmember when they're sad. He also lectures his domrmates time to time, sometimes a little annoyed or confused with their behaviour. Main example for this would be his best friend Chieko. he cares a lot about the dorm tough and often assists Satoshi.

Yasu is quite the realist and even tough he likes all of his dormmates, he enjoys being alone sometimes. He doesn't shows it as much as his classmates, but he actually also desires the top spot. He reacts very bitter to losing and especially does so when his parents are around. For Yasu honor is quite important and he does not want to disappoint his parents.

It's hard to break Yasu's calmness, very hard. He mostly is always in for the activities his dormmates have planned and often brings the famous rice juice, actually sake. He never was seen drunk tough. He can often be seen sighing about his dormmates but is often also mildly amused by them.
