Very (VERY!) helpful, thank you. I've always had trouble with shoes. I usually just lob off part of the foot to make them look like they'd fit into whatever I've created, lol.

Thank so much for this, it was really easy to read (although you might want to make the font a few sizes bigger just to make it easier to read) and made sense ^^

thanks for the comment! The sizing is something I've tried to address in my more recent tutorials and will definitely be something I bear in mind for future ones, so thanks for the feedback.

Cool~ I don't make dolls but this sure helped when drawing too.
Oh and I have a question, what font did you use in the tut? The small white text. :3

Hehe, well if you really want some critique, I'll say that if it were me I would increase the contrast, add some anti-aliasing, and use less saturated colors. But this is just me!
Very nice tutorial over though. I love it when I see people make tuts. I myself did not learn art from an art class (last one I took was in 6th grade) but from observing what people did in their artwork and reading tutorials. So props for taking the time out to help others.
I'm making a big fatty of a tutorial at the moment myself, but it's taking sooo long because it's literally what I do from the second I start mousing the lineart to the last pixel I add. FF FF FF.

I showed it immediately to a friend who just started dolling ^^ but I think, a tutorial like that was just missing, most people still draw shoes pretty weird on the base feet XD
I am sure it will be a big help to a lot of people I wished that it had existed earlier XD I had to learn drawing shoes the hard way >_> lol

Wahay! A shoe tutorial! I really like that you showed how to draw different kinds of shoes, so often in tutorials I only see high heels. I'll be using this in the future for sure.
