She's been playing to roles in this story so far. One, she's been letting herself be this love sick puppy that would do anything for Goku.

*Note* Goku never asked her to do any of the things they've done before leading up to this point e.i the birth of Trunks, but she's well aware that if he ever asked her to, she would*

And in return, Vegeta has been using this to his advantage, trying to in anyway to hurt Goku in hopes that it would eventually help him beat him.

Bulma is maturing here, realizing that this lie that she told will eventually hurt not only her, but her son, who is the only person who matters in the equation. She doesn't want to lie and pretend she's mothering a child with someone, while secretly waiting for actually father to be with her. She knows it's no gonna happen.

So she's saying that she doesn't need either of them. She'll love and take care of Trunks all on her own, because his love for her is genuine, unlike Goku or Vegeta .

She kissed him in the last one to prove he means nothing to her.

However, the saiyan's reasons run deeper than what Bulma is accusing.

In the mean time, Gohan gets his dad good, catching him off guard since Goku seems kind of 'Distracted'.

Of course Piccolo doesn't seem to pleased about it.
Guess it's time for another heart to heart from our good friend, Piccolo. But it won't be easy since he gave Roshi and King Kai his word about not telling Goku the truth before the attack,
but Goku is already become distracted.

*Note* Goku didn't 'see' the conversation between Vegeta and Bulma, he just senses things.
