Okay, so I think we all have pretty much seen the movie that introduced us to generation 5 and also the special sequence ´Make your mark´ Even though I think the start point for the future series is quite alright, I just can't bring myself to like some of the designs of the main five. So I decided to challenge myself and see what I can come up with!And of course we need to start with our main character, Sunny Starscout.
I saw many people not liking her design because her color palette was taken from already existing character Scootaloo. I also wanted to bring out more of her father's characteristics 'cause we don't know what her mother looked like. I changed her main's colors to more bluish pastel lavender. I decided to keep her original eye color and cutie mark, I also did not change her hairstyle too much.
In her official demo designs, Sunny actually had glasses so I decided that she started to use her father's glasses (and also his necklace that she made into pin for her bag) when she became an adult.
I have this theory that her father actually didn't die but something dangerous happened in Sunny's hometown which caused her father's disappearance.
