Description
When I was little I use to run though the forestTake off my shoes and run on rocks
My heels turned to cold hard steel
And my heart evolved over time
Mimicking the feelings thrown around my world
I ran with the animals
And flew with the birds
My heart beat the wind
Flew out of my chest like a bleeding cannon ball
I was never the same
I felt kinda lame
My face pale
My eyes cloudy
My world went dark
The next day I awoke in the park
Flowers surround my corpse
I got up from the ground
Peering down upon lifeless self
I walked around
I ran away
I stumbled into town
Packed with all kinds of folk
Yelling and screaming
Kicking and punching
Unnoticed
Unheard
I'm lost
I'm lost
I'm forgotten
Uneventfully doomed to walk the earth alone
The flowers will bloom and die
But I will be dead walking among you
I've lived but haven't lived
When the sun shows its beauty
I'll be fading in the dark
