Depends on the Dalek, really.
What you need to remember is that Daleks are just everyday folk like you or me who just happen to have been mutated into squid form, encased in a high tech travel machine and indoctrinated with a prime mission of wiping out all other life forms and ruling the universe. Pretty ordinary, really.
