Description
Welp, its true... but can mean that Family Guy can be in serious sh!t and trouble now for its content with Mickey Mouse looking over about the show. We're going to have to see what will happen to them since Disney is the new owners for FOX's assets.
20th Century Fox is owned by Walt Disney Co. now.
Which I really think I was neutral with the deal.

Looks like Peter's going to get his just desserts. Also, care to see me and my friends' merger ideas?
If Sony sells its entertainment assets............If Sony sells its entertainment assets to various companies and focuses on its technological mojo, just like its new CEO Kenichiro Yoshida planned it (he did say "Change is urgent", after all) (and if Disney buys Warner Bros. as part of the merger), according to these articles:

If Disney bought MGM and the rights to the post-1986 MGM library, how would you feel about it?

Well actually the reason why Disney bought Fox is actually because they want reboot Futurama.

I did, and this image when I saw something like this: www.latimes.com/business/holly⦠Then I thought it would affect them as well at first.
But you are right, The deal won't affect FBC (Fox Broadcasting Channel).

Well, at least we might see the glorious return of the 20th Century Fox and Lucasfilm combination in future Star Wars movies. With the more adult-oriented shows and films, there's at least Touchstone Pictures.

Depends on if WarnerMedia bought Viacom before, or after it completed its merger with CBS. If before, Disney will own WarnerMedia, Paramount, Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount, and the film rights to Star Trek when they buy eventually WarnerMedia from AT&T. If after, Disney will own WarnerMedia, Paramount, Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount, and ALL of Star Trek when they eventually buy WarnerMedia from AT&T.

What will the future go.

Seth MacFarlane has been trying to end Family guy for a while now I hear though, so Disney could finally give him that wish.
I mean really, recent eps of Family guy do put a lot of extreme stuff in them, from what i heard it's cause Seth wants the show to end but Fox won't let it die... Who knows what could happen though

i heard it somewhere, it would explain why it's got such extreme and gross humor whereas his other project, The Orville, is much more restrained and has better writing

Seth hasn't written for Family Guy in nearly 10 years. He does think it should've ended a long time ago, but he's not making a stand to end it since he knows he'll be putting alot of people out of work.

Why would you? Disney only becomes heavy handed if they start putting the Disney brand on the things it owns or if things they own start failing to make money without their oversight.
Family Guy isn't dedicated to Disney jokes. I'm sure Disney can take the occasional rimming.

Thats exactly what I figured you were talking about. The fact is just because Disney owns something doesn't mean they step in and micro-manage things (especially things that are already wildly successful like Family Guy. I remember 2 specific times when Family Guy made the Walt jokes (a skit where Walt Disney is frozen and an entire segment where everyone is drawn like a Disney character). One of those happened nearly 2 decades ago and the other happened like 7 years ago. Family Guy isn't just rapid firing Walt jokes.
Point is Disney will more than likely leave Family Guy alone as long as it makes money. In no universe will Family Guy rock the Disney trademark due to its crassness.

I don't think Family Guy and The Simpsons would be affected to that point.
Maybe they could bring back the emotional sides from the Simpsons like the early seasons, and maybe making likable spin offs.
On a side note, we can now say that Anastasia is really a Disney movie now.
