EXACTLY!!! I honestly don't understand the thought process with the two. The two are completely different dragons. Moon is too shy, soft, weak and good (and somewhat boring in my opinion) while Darkstalker is evil, selfish, power-hungry, etc. Never really understood the ship at all

Yep. Why can't Moon just be shipped with Winter or Quibli or Kinjabou or a rock or something? Even that would make more sense than Moon with Darkstalker.
Hah, to be honest, I never liked either of the characters much. I found Moon to be too boring and uninteresting while having all the guys fall for her. While Darkstalker was too OP, illogical, selfish and sadistic which somehow made him boring. I found Quibli, Winter, Turtle and so many others to be many interesting characters then Moon and Dark. But that's just my opinion.

book 6 moon was good, and then her character kind of flumped while Tui was writing about everyone else. but yeah, there are..... So Many better options for moon than hecking darkstalker

The sixth book Moon had a very interesting personality of basically being afraid and insecure and all that. That is very relatable. Then she suddenly changed to become a more confident kind dragon in a short amount of time makes it seem very unrealistic (it's funny considering we're talking about dragons). And then when all the guys just fall in love with her for no reason just annoys me. Like, if it was just Winter or Quibli then I would be fine. But any more would be unrealistic in my opinion. And even then that would be more realistic than Moon with Darkstalker.

I honestly just,,, Don't understand why people feel the need to ship Darkstalker and Moon? People are like 'he'd change for her!' like... He obviously wouldn't. He didn't change in the books - he was always a monster. When he was young and first met Clearsight, he had good in him, but he let himself become twisted and awful. He needed dragons to 'keep him good', and never took responsibility for the things he did because it was always some kind of failing on their part, not his. Also he tried to kill all the icewings?????? And keep it from Moon??? Like this is not a small mistake, that's? Genocide?Β
Idk why people like him. He's an excellent villain, and I did feel sorry for him in parts, but honestly? He's just a bastard. None of this uwu Brendan Urie dragon shit, he's a monster. I kinda wish his ma had killed him in the end of the books lmao
