It's a terrible ship. It's abusive and dark and not something that should ever be canonically supported. It's not good and is just promoting bad relationships.
But please consider that tearing down the Fandom and calling them all out like murders might not have been the best move either.

Well, Darkstalker had killed dragons in his or his tribe’s protection. He killed Arctic because he was trying to kidnap his sister and got his mother kidnapped (though he thought killed). The force field against IceWings was something his queen ordered him to do. The war wasn’t his control, and the disease was only revenge because he was emotionally and mentally injured. And he’s not power hungry, he just wants to do what’s best for his friends and tribe, and would do what he could to get to that point, where he could help them. Nothing he was doing was meant for evil, it just ended up looking like it in the end.

literally no other character in the series deals with their trauma by murdering an entire tribe without a second thought so uh. cool motive still murder

People have their different ways of dealing with trauma. And have we ever seen a character with such a depressing backstory? Darkstalker was betrayed left, right and center. He was hurt, and even used (to some extent). And remember, he remembers everything as happening “just yesterday” as said in book 9, so blaming an ancestor on something isn’t as bad as you may think, because he doesn’t see it as “an ancestor” but as a friend who betrayed him just last week.
Now am I saying the ship is okay? No, but I’m just saying, Darkstalker has his reasons for doing what he did.

Don't forget letting Anemone slaughter her family (only stopped because of Turtle) because he blamed Fathom and threw their ancestor under an emotional bus because he couldn't grasp that his girlfriend had agency that didn't like what he was doing.

Like, I don't mind if you ship it, just keep in mind that it is not a healthy ship and it's going to end badly. There is story potential, but that potential involves a lot of dark, scary things and is not going to be fluffy. It's not a healthy ship in any way.
