Just thought I'd state my mind.
We read NIGHTJOHN in school (i don't really recommend it tho) and we talked a lot about racism and slavery.
The scene is in a Wales (what? it fit!) church. The cat, who is half black, half white (thanks to me) is telling you to fight racism. There are two quotes by Martin Luther King JR and one by Sojourner Truth and one by me. No sparklies. They didn't fit this one.
