Description
Captain Carrot and Angua (in her wolf form) either on duty or checking out the destination of their next date.Only Carrot would try to get her to go to the Dwarf Bread Museum multiple times while regaling her with the Laws and Ordinances of the City from his out of date handbook. Oh well... there's a lot worse that could be going on in Ankh-Morpork... and chances are it is. Just not around these two.
I used a few different methods on this one.
Angua's texture was one that made a tutorial for a while ago and Carrot was kind of an experiment with the sort of coloring does (as far as I can decipher anyway). And a slapped together background for the heck of it. A-M is a daunting city to try to emulate. I always invision it extremely slimy and greasy (thanks to the River Ankh) so... that's what I tried to go for... in my half assed kind of way.
Too much Discworld on the brain. That and ~DJMoose telling me to draw them.
Pah. Like I need an excuse.
Carrot Ironfoundersson, Angua, and Discworld are (c) Terry Pratchett.

Before I read your description I was looking at this piece and thinking "damned that's a good-looking wolf!"
Then I read the description and actually did a double-take.
I'm SO glad someone was able to use that tutorial! I should have mentioned it works equally well with fur (sometimes better with fur) than it does with hair. Ah well -- you figured it out, and it looks FANTASTIC! *applause, applause!*

XD Thanks~
Your style sure saved me a heaping helping of sanity with the fur if I do say so myself. (And it is already in short supply SO.... yes.)

And if you don't mind me nitpicking a bit, the dogs head migh't be considered oversized..?

Captain Carrot? His name is really Captain Carrot? That's funny. I'm loving the texture on the hair, very wispy and chalk like.

Aww, I love your take on Carrot! So much better than Kidby. He's so...just...better not go that route. (I don't really care for Kidby's style, I suppose.)
But he looks so sweet, which is something I haven't found in anyone's take on him....in my random, occasional searches, lol.
And Angua's color's are very pretty. She looks so calm. Tamed by Carrot, I guess.

Or tamed by the boredom that is seeping out through the Bread Museum.
And wow, thanks! Glad ya like my Carrot. I think Kidby's is a slight bit too "meat heat" looking for me... I like my Carrot more youthful and sweet than the sterned face one that Kidby usually draws.

The over-all piece came out beautifully.

Mmm...bread museum. Would it be all moldy if it's museum bread?
I love Angua's fur pattern! You did a great job on it. Isn't her tutorial awesome?
Must... read discword...

Dwarf bread in Discworld is more closely related to a bludgeon. As it contains more rocks and the ilk than actual nourishment. Many regiments have survived on a single loaf of dwarf battle bread purely by the motivation NOT to try to eat it.

when I saw this in my watch, I some how knew it would be Discworld. anyways I like the texure on the wolf. it gives it a realstic feel. however where is the glowing light comeing from, beacause the background doesn't have it.
