Myspace Roleplay at it's finest. Gizmoduck (me) and Darkwing's ( *vaporshi ) interaction was just too funny and I could see it so clearly in my head that I just had to draw it. I'm pretty pleased with it. XD I love these guys... and now you all get a glimpse of what goes on in our zany bird infested roleplay. Afraid? You shouldn't be. It's great fun... ;D

They do! I had always wanted them to have a crossover where DW went to Duckburg so we could see his interactions with those characters and how he would then react to Giz and his city.

"Say, I didnt know you were a master of the Mexican hat dance." lmao!! i needed that laugh. XD Gizmo truly is clueless. what I've always wondered is, why is Gizmo Duck more popular then Darkwing? I mean, what's Gizmo without all his gadgets? nothing. while Darkwing can fight just as good without any fancy toys. it was proven in the episode "Up, up and Awry." i love this comic strip. epic job.

And I'm sure if you're asking why he was more popular in the show context or fanwise. Because fanwise he's beat 20 to 1. Especially among Darkwing Fans. Where as in the show sense it made for a more interesting dynamic between the two because essentally Giz had everything Darkwing wanted. Giz/Fenton was also a more fleshed out character in Ducktales where as they dumbed him down (if that's even possible) in DwD to focus more on the rivalry.
There was actually an episode of Ducktales where Fenton proved himself a hero without the suit as well. So he's not really *nothing* without it. I think he just gets a bad rap because of how he's portrayed in DwD. I watched Ducktales Giz and loved him before Darkwing even came along. So to me, they're both great in their own ways.
Plus it gives Darkwing a heroic rival like Batman has Superman.

that's fine I rant sometimes myself. I havent seen all the Duck Tales episodes. one I did see with Gizmo in it was "The Masked Mallard." his personality didn't seem to change much from Darkwing's version. But your right. It seems no matter how hard Batman tried, superman was always more popular. So, I guess the same would be said for those two. I did like "Tift of the titans" where they had to work together. that was funny.

All randomosity aside, I find this highly amusing. You two obviously have a knack for roleplaying, because this is just how I imagine this sort of situation would go down in the show. Silly Giz - someone oughta tell him that there's no keyhole that big.

Yesyesyes! There needs to be more Disney Afternoon related stuff in Kingdom Hearts! I mean, Scrooge was in there, but it was only a cameo, and he didn't even get a voice actor. Talk about lame. What KH3 needs is some NegaDuck villainy. I actually read a DWD fanfic someone wrote about NegaDuck in Kingdom Hearts, and it was really good...I just don't remember the title.
O LOL at Giz. XD He's the only duck I know who would still use the term "Egads!" But we love him for it. And it would be highly amusing to see him and Darkwing team up to fight the heartless.

Yeah I was bummed that Scroogie didn't get a voice actor. It felt so sad just sittin' there watching him flap his gums with no sound.
And I think I know the one you're talking about. If my memory serves me it was by ~Heidedevries and.... I think the title was "Netherworld Lights"? Maybe?

Yeah, that was the one! I wasted an entire library period at school reading that story - but it was definitely worth it. I don't think my teacher would agree, though.
