A bit of my Raz costume from this year's latest Otakon romp. I like this one because ya get to see my two bestest fake friends in the world. Not Pokeylope and Ford, my extra thick eyebrows!And yes I really DID give myself manbrows and painted myself yellow/orange... and bound my chest
And I did it out of love dammit.
Though the jury's still out if I looked like a "Little" boy.

For the hat I took a baseball cap, cut the brim off it. I then cut the brim into two pices and used them as the base of the ear covers then I made the "ear cupcakes" out of foam and covered the whole thing in fabric. And after much swearing and grumbling this was the result!

I was wondering if I could just cut the brim off a hat...It's so difficult to find aviator hats in this shade of brown without a bill!

I love the littl eFord comming out of your ear. Was it heavy? and hust curious where did you find the goggles?

No he wasn't heavy at all. He kept flopping over though... but that's my fault for not making his support strong enough.
And the goggles I found on ebay. Just a generic pair that I painted to match the brown/red color and they didn't have red lenses so I cut up one of those holiday gift bags with the holographic designs and put them on the inside of the lenses.

that does show commitment to a costume with the facepaint. You wouldn't really need to use facepaint for anyone other than someone like bobby zilch (blue skin) or his big-eared spitlick (purple skin). Raz's is pretty normallyish skin, but does indeed show respect to the character for going all out like that.
