Sir... yes sir, my Master*RikusWorld and I just got back from Portcon Maine this weekend, after a day of spending quality time with friends and taking some very kick-ass photo shoots!
This one is one of my very favorite shots from the day. It shows the dark feel of Hellsing and the character Seras Victoria. She has a kind and genuine heart, keeps her humanity for as long as she can hang on, but there are desperate times when she embraces that she is a monster.
I placed this image in the Artisan Crafts: Costumes gallery because it shows a great close-up of the wig styling work, bias tape, topstitching and button details around the collar of her costume, breast pockets, makeup, and custom Hellsing patch.

Very well done on the outfit. Every aspect is done to such a high degree. and also, the light source in this sets up quite a nice mood when contrasted with you're expression. Kind of a dark, kill anything in your path mood but still crossed with sexyness and an almost odd innocents. incredible job all around!

Frankly, your impression of this character is the best cosplay I've seen since Hellsing came out.

Wow, that's hugely impressive! Thank you! What I was trying to do was capture the spirit of this character; I don't have connections on this level with any other character. We're very similar. I have had (literally) one hell of a year, so I've been diving head first into my art projects (cosplay and photography) as often and as hard as possible. It makes me feel free when I'm working on something I'm passionate about.

Exactly! It was hard work and I did it at a grueling pace while keeping up a full time job, long commute, etc etc, but it was something I dove into with all of my heart. It was exhausting, but at the same time, it didn't feel like "work" at all. I enjoyed every second of it. My hope is that this is something that you all can enjoy as well!

Thanks! I used to take commissions, but I don't anymore, unfortunately; my job, commute, and hobbies take up all of my time. I wish I could have helped you out, though!
